Air Force Air Combat Command announced a first tranche of contracts for its Combat Air Force/Contracted Air Support (CAF/CAS) program, announced in October 2019 after the Request for Proposals for Adversary Air (ADAIR) in August 2018. The ID/IQ also provided for nearby air support training at 10 facilities, three of which were awarded this year. TACAIR has been awarded a four-and-a-half-year contract for US$90.4 million to train F-15C/D pilots at Kingsley Air Guard Base in Oregon.
